Play Golf. Give back.
We love golf. But we were frustrated by the direction we saw golf going in. We launched bird+ball to help reconnect golf and nature.
By shopping with us instead of other brands, you help support local and international efforts to improve the environment we live, work and play golf in.

Sustainability and Environment
We started b+b with some very clear intentions
Recouple golf and nature
Be open and honest about our practices
Ensure that as a brand, we’re contribute to improving the planet
Here’s how we do it…
Attitude and advocacy
Fast fashion is one of the main drivers for climate change. We really encourage slower fashion practices. Don’t buy things you don’t need and fix the things you already have. When the time does comes to treat yourself, buy from an environmentally conscious brand, like us! We’re aspiring to provide a sustainable option for your new golf clothes.
We appreciate that it may feel hypocritic, being a golfing climate advocate. But we strongly buy into the notion of imperfect advocacy. None of us are perfect, but we can all be a little better than yesterday!

Carbon Neutrality is not good enough.
Carbon offsetting is great and it’s an essential and
necessary step on the road to a secure climate. We aim to reach carbon
neutrality int he near future for our practices. This isn’t good enough though.
We’re constantly looking at ways to reduce waste and emissions, not just
directly by us but in our supply chain too. This is a work in progress, it
requires hard work and collaboration, but we’re willing to graft. We think the
planet is worth it.
Not only are we working to reduce emissions and reach carbon
neutrality, we want to see an impact on top of this. A direct improvement on
the environment we live in. This involves giving profits from our operation
directly to environmental causes. If you have a cause you have a passion for
please contact us to see if we can help!

Materials and manufacturing
We try as best as we can to use sustainable materials in our
products. This means in our technical items we use as much recycled polyester
as we can, reducing the amount of virgin polyester we use. In our other items
we use plant based materials such as bamboo and cotton. These naturally have a
lower carbon footprint than polyester and have the advantage of breaking down
naturally after use. Although we still advocate getting as much life out of our
clothing as possible, so don’t just chuck them away for that reason!
In terms of manufacturing, little things like using fabric
mills close to our factories reduces the amount of shipping and minimises our
carbon footprint.
We also extend these concepts to our packaging. The mailers
you receive your orders in are 100% compostable, leaving zero waste. The rest
of our packaging is also either compostable or recyclable including our
stickers!
